Mr. Giuliani not only exploited 9/11 as it was occurring, but he's also cashed in quite heavily in the year and a half since then. From endorsing a political hack, Doug Forrestor of NJ, to hosting the Emmy Awards, he hasn't let us forget that HE was the savior. To title the book, "Mayor of America" is arrogant; not only did he practically refuse to leave office as NYC Mayor but he now claims to be "mayor" of the whole country. Mr. Giuliani is chock full o' quotes, in this book. However, few of them stick. A poor speaker, he is an even worse writer--and Adler doesn't offer much as reconciliation. Buy the book if you love the guy but be wary of the chest puffing and gloating that stuffs this book to the hilt.
