Fromm fairly describes other people's views, including those of Jung and Freud, with his own. Unfortunately, as an Introduction, Fromm assumes the reader will either know psychoanalytical theories, or take his word as truth. Still, it will change the way you look at dreams, fairy tales and myths. They will start to make sense. Rating: - Unlocks personal wisdom This may be the best book on mysticism ever written. It takes insight and communication to a very personal level, revealing and then unlocking the language our soul uses to communicate with the conscious. Be prepared to meet a very wise subconscious.
