The malachite effect and the faux woodgrain effect are among the bolder choices. And if a technique is labor-intensive, the book says so. Great photography ... Personally speaking, this book is eye-candy more or less, but hopefully YOU will have the guts to try out a faux finish or two, or three. I'm chicken...for now. Rating: - Fantastic!! This book is absolutely amazing, I'm a painter and I htought that painting the walls to a new home would be easy and I was completely wrong then somone bought me this book and honestly it was the best gift ever. My home looks amazing and it's all because of this book, I swear by itas the bible of house painting. Rating: - Highly Recomended It is a nice book on the subject, well written and presented, with beautiful photos and many practical techniques. I purchased a similar book, twice the price and I regret it. This book worth every penny and much more.
