Average Rating: 4.71 out of 5 stars

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Legend Continues!!
I recieved the bonus disc on Feb. 10 and so I have only played the master quest, of course. I will go over 5 things about Master Quest.

Graphics - The resolution has been bumped up a bit from the N64 but not even close to what the Game Cube can handle as we have seen from Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0. I give the Graphics a 7.8/10

Presentation - When you pop in the disc you see a menu that gives you the option of watching movies or picking either Ocarina of Time or Ocarina of Time: Master Quest. There isn't to much intuitiveness or anything new with the menus. Even when you pick the Master Quest the same background that you on the N64 version of OOT hasn't changed. 6.7/10

Gameplay - Master Quest is really different then OOT but not as difficult as Nintendo or IGN is saying but that is probably only because I have gotten to the Forest Temple. The puzzles are clever and do use your brain and wits. But this game is mostly for people who have played OOT already. You will a new enjoyment out of it. I like the changes they made to the Dodongo's Cavern and what they did to Jabu-Jabu's Belly is just strange. This grade is based off of the dungeons I have beat so far: 9.2/10

Sound - The sound is exactly the same as the N64 cartridge. It's a shame that they weren't able to encode this with DPLII. The sound is average but I still give it a 9.0/10

Lasting Appeal - There are two games and seven movies to keep you occupied possibly while you wait for Wind Waker to release but nothing special. 7.0/10

Overall Score 9.5/10

But what's best about this Bonus is that it's free. So pick it up if you can.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - A faithful recreation of a woderfully adictive game
Nintendo has recreated what was rated as one of the best games ever made. Zelda: Ocarina of time is so amazing, I spent nearly 6 hours playing it! This game was the first of its kind to include a fully 3D, fully navigatable world to game in. However, being such a faithful clone of the original, the graphics are sub-par for gamecube since the game was originally for N64. Here's how it rates:
Graphics: 5/10 - A N64 game on GameCube is pretty startling.
Easiness: 7/10 - One to read the instuctions on
Story: 10/10 - Immersing story in a colorful world
Gameplay: 11/10 - Come on, it's Zelda! It can be hard, easy, puzzling, and deceptively simple all at once!
Overall: 9/10 - Get it for free when you get Wind Waker, who could ask for a better deal? However, don't pay a steep price to get just it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - The Greatest Game Ever - Revived and Expanded
Back in the day, the day when the Nintendo 64 ruled all, a game came out that was so impossibly good, even Sony and Square couldn't compete. It was called: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It had the state of the art graphics, a wonderful storyline, and the best gameplay ever. The game was bliss- pure one hundred percent bliss.
Now with a three way war between Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft, the Nintendo Loyalists (like me) are getting a special offer. With the next Zelda game on the horizon (The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker), Nintendo decided to revive and expand the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The Game is now actually two games: Ocarina of Time and Ocarina of Time: Master Quest. Ocarina of Time will be exactly the same as the golden age. Untouched music, graphics and gameplay. The controller will be adapted to the game so that you can play on a GCN controller without rearranging the controls.
As for Master Quest. It was origionally called Ocarina of Time DD because it was released in Japan for the Nintendo 64 Disk Drive. However it never saw U.S. shores as it's Japanese sales were never that good. Basically the game is just like Ocarina of Time except some of the dungeon puzzles are different and there are more enimies. No not new enimies, more of the same enimies.
Now when you order this game, and you plug it into the consle, relive the golden moments of the good ol' days.
