Average Rating: Rating: - Cool but disappointing I think the new GBASP is awesome. The clamshell design, metallic colors, and lighting really make this the ultimate GameBoy. I have three GameBoys and I love them all and I hope to add this one to my collection. My only problem is why couldn't they have done this before? For almost..I am mad at Nintendo for not creating this design earlier. My advice to you is to wait until the price drops and just use your regular old GBA. You know the price will drop after a while. I think I would rather spend my money on the GameBoy player that lets you play GameBoy games on your GCN. I will change my rating to five stars when the price goes down. Otherwise, good job Nintendo. Rating: - 5 Stars for Nintendo The GBA SP sounds like an awesome idea. There is no downfall to this product. I own a GBA and am dissapointed with it's sucess. It has poor lighting, poor size, and it is oddly shaped. The new and improved GBA SP fixes all of that. Built in light, that is better than the Afterburner. The Afterburner voids the warrenty with Nintendo, and tends to light only from the top. It also casts a blue glare on the screen, imparing the color. The screen also gets scratched on the GBA, so the clamshell design of the GBA SP will really help. For anyone who thinks this is stupid, DONT BUY ONE!! The rest of the gaming community bears to differ. I own a GBA, and I also end up carrying many different types of lights, because of the lighting situation. If you are tired of carrying lights that light only one spot, aren't bright enough, or just plain wont work? Then you will want to save your money an buy this. It is defanitly worth the extra [money]... Rating: - The Game Boy with the built in light. And more...
