Rating: - The best game I've ever played...
Buy this game. I repeat, just in case you did not hear me the first time: Buy this game.Believe me, you'll be grateful you did. In Zelda, you begin playing as Link, a young boy who lives in a small village in a forest. You start out on a normal visit to the "Great Deku Tree", the guardian of the village, and before you know it, you're entrusted with saving the entirety of your world. The characters are all memorable, from your guardian fairy Navi, who is constantly giving you hints, to Kojiro, a blue cucco (chicken) who only crows around special people. The graphics are amazing as is the camera. The music is enchanting from times when you're in an upbeat town theme to when you're in a dark and mysterious dungeon. The puzzles in Zelda are not particularly hard especially if you've played other Zelda games. For the most part, you'll be able to figure them out (Navi gives hints and the camera will sometimes zoom to a place to indicate what needs to be accomplished) but you'll be calling up a friend or searching online for help at least once. I loved the storyline, though I've heard some call it weak. Don't expect a Final Fantasy-type, deep, engrossing storyline from Zelda. Zelda's storyline is much simpler than that, though there are quite a few twists and turns along the way. There's also tons of side-quests which are fun, like fishing at Lake Hylia or bombchu bowling in Hyrule Castle Town. The Zelda world becomes your world. By the end of the journey, you'll be hummin' the tunes you learn to play on your ocarina and talking about Ruto and Kaepora Gaebora as if they were your good old friends! It's more than that though, I really don't quite know how to explain it. The overall 'experiance' of Zelda is amazing. It's something you'll want to play again and again, even though it won't be much different each time. Trust me, if you buy this game, you will not regret it. I've recommended Zelda to many of my friends and all of them have loved it. Go! Click on the order button now! The Legend of Zelda awaits!
Rating: - The Biggest Hit Of Nintendo's Career
I confess- i've never played a single Zelda game before this- cause i wasn't into RPG games, but i'm so glad i never gave this a miss. One day, i just felt like playing this game and i bought it and it's terrific, no maybe better than terrific, it's too good to be true.I spent 4 good months playing this game and i finally beat it recently but that hasn't stopped me from planning round 2 and buying the brady guidebook to find all the secrets. This game is also filled with charatcer interaction and drama. I think you can read Amazon's review for the storyline and i'll just encourage you to buy this game if you haven't. It's a player's choice game and coming from Nintendo- i am not surprised it's this good. I'm gonna get Majora's mask when it comes out this winter and i hope to see this game on the Dolphin. If you are hooked and want to relive the magic- go get an old NES or SNES from your cousins or someone and buy the previous Zelda games and you'll see why Zelda's a classic. Like Mario, Zelda has a huge following and blah blah...i don't need to elaborate on the game's success anymore. As far as fun/gameplay/story/graphics/sound/replay is concerned, it's a safe bet to say that i will give every category at least 9.5 out of 10. I'll only give it a 10 when they put in FMV and put to rest once and for all, that Zelda is the definitive standard-RPG and action-RPG and not Final Fantasy. Sorry guys, i had to say it- it's true. Now if only Majora's Mask would arrive sooner...oh i can't wait!
Rating: - Spectacular,Stunning,Wonderful, Gave it 20 thumbs up
This is what makes Nintendo 64 so much better than Playstation. Even with the semi special Final Fantasy 7. Nintendo still manages to blow Playstation back in dust. Zelda is a game for all ages from the moment you learn how to use a controller. It features a awsome screenplay, spectacular action and battle sequences, awsome monsters like the gigantic dondongo or Vulcana the fire breathing, goron eating dragon. You play as Link, the long heroe of the Zelda series. This time you play as both little kiddie Link and adult Link. You can change through time with your ocarina of time and can smash the hell out of any baddies with weapons like, very large swords, megaton hammers, fire ice and light arrows, and your beloved hookshot. This time Links off to save Hyrule (his hood) from the demented Ganadorf, and he needs your help. So if you don't have this game, turn off Banjo Kazooi, and buy it for godsake!
