Average Rating: Rating: - The most amasing game EVER If you are thinking that pokemon gold and silver is exactly the same as red and blue, then you are WRONG. There are 100 more pokemon, and 200 more tecniques. You can breed pokemon to get baby pokemon and poke eggs. There are different pokemon found at different times and there are now evolutions and the two new types, Steel and Dark. You start in New Bark Town, where you get your first pokemon (cyndaquil, totodile, or chicorita). You then travel on and catch more pokemon and badges. There will also be novelties like team rocket take over, or someone arrived, you also are given an poke egg which hatches into togepi. There are pokemon such as the legendary dogs and ho-oh and lugia, you can also collect 16 badges. You trade with red, blue, yellow, and silver to catch all the pokemon. You can collect the phone number of the people you battle. You also have a watch, radio and any other cards you recieve to put into your POKE GEAR. The colour is amazing quality and will give hours of pleasure to anyone who is over 7. IF YOU BUY IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT, TRUST ME Rating: - Not as good as Red, Blue, and Yellow, but cool Personally I thought that Pokémon Red and Blue were the best games ever created for Game Boy Color, but Gold and Silver were pretty good games too. There were some things I didn't like, for example, I think some of the new Pokémon look too much like ordinary objects with faces (Pineco???), and I liked the original 151 Pokémon better. Some of the old areas in Kanto, such as the Safari Zone, are now closed off. However, this game had a lot of advantages too. -Now there are two worlds to explore: Kanto and Johto! -More trainers allows for more battle experience. -The keeping time idea was very clever. When it's nighttime in the real world, it's nighttime in the Pokémon world too! There are certain Pokémon you can only catch during the day, as well as ones you can only catch at night. It even keeps track of Daylight Savings Time and the day! Certain events only happen and certain Pokémon only come out on certain days of the week. -Apricorns. Bring them to Kurt for new types of Pokéballs! -More Pokémon to catch presents more of a challenge. -New attacks. -Dark and Steel Pokémon! -Trade Pokémon with all previous versions of the game, as well as Crystal version. -Breed Pokémon! Carry around eggs to hatch into baby Pokémon! Play this game Pokémon Masters, if you liked the other ones and want a new one. Tbis game is good and it is diff than the others. about 251 pokemon total. + Night and day. The color is way better than the others. A cool watch and some new codes to. The book bag has 4 saks(1 for pokeballs, one for tms/hms, 1 for important items, and 1 for healing items.) When you look at pokemon stats there are three boards instead of 2. Also your new rival steals pokemon and stuff. The evolutions are new. for instance if you thought Chansey stayed like that your wrong. than there are pre evoltions for pokemon like pikachu, clefairy, and jigglypuff. If you mate pokemon of same type (ex. Raichu / raichu(exactlly same), Raichu/ ratatta(both mice) and raichu/jolteon(both eletric). You can go between worlds. 2 new legendary birds. The appearence of Mew, Mewtwo, and Mewthree. new types steel and evil. Also time machine so you dont have to trade pokemon so you can just get them. The trainers look different and your not ash. 16 gyms in all. 2 new hm's and a few more tm's. And you can shake pokemon out of trees. You get radios. radio upgrade. some downs is that the puzzles are hard (2 or 3 total) You cant catch all the pokemon in this game. You can put any new pokemon from this version to blue, gree, or red versions.The pokemon are harder to catch. some general stuff: you battle harder people and ASH. You verse a whole building of rockets and lance helps you. You can chose to be a boy or a girl. I thionk you get a skateborad(bootleg roller blades are better.) but you need to get this game cause it is THE BOMB DIGGITY. (my age is really thirteen)
