Average Rating: Rating: - A must-have for better graphics and maximum gameplay!!! This is awesome! If you own Perfect Dark, one of the best games ever, this is a necessity. You need it to practically play the whole, entire game! Otherwise, you only get to play like combat multiplayer levels and you don't even get to play solo missions which are like the highlight of the game! Not only does the expansion pak enhance Perfect Dark, but it also improves the graphics of every game that can work with the expansion pak, like The World is Not Enough 007. Now, I saw a big difference there! First, the graphics were a bit shabby, but I placed the expansion pak in the N64 console, and bada-bing, bada-boom, the graphics were amazing! Clear, crisp, sharp, beautiful! If you don't have this item, you are definitely missing out on the eighth wonder of the N64 game console. Go to a video game store near you and buy it already!!! Rating: - A Must-have Item The N64 expansion pack is to me a waste of time and money. For $30.00 it is not worth it. It does clear up fog and sharpen graphics, thus making your game run faster and smoother as well, but the difference is not that noticable. However, it is neccessary for Perfect Dark 64, and many new N64 games will require it, so I suggest you get one. Rating: - A necessity, but over-priced and only slightly impressive Luckily, I got my expansion pack with Donkey Kong 64,so I didn't have to spend 30 bucks for it. There is a significant difference with the 4 megabytes of extra video memory, but it's nothing revolutionary. However, because quality games like Donkey Kong and Perfect Dark require it, it must be purchased. There are also several games that don't require the expansion pack, but benefit from its use (Top Gear Overdrive, Rouge Squadron). The bottom line: if you're a 64 owner/player, you should probably buy the expansion pack.
