Average Rating: Rating: - Simple NO SUBSTITUTE This one gets the five stars for its STELLAR perf., inspite of the price. I have tried a number of different papers from Epson, HP, Kodak,... to cheap imitations. Nothing yet compares to the results of the Canon Photo Pro. True Lab quality. If you look at the surface at an angle so you can see the reflection of a light source, you can really tell the difference in the surface textures of different papers. The canon Pro is unique in that it actually looks like a mirror, you can see the detailed image of the light, not a distorted reflection. I.E. the paper is mirror flat, not like any other paper I can find. TOO BAD IT'S SO EXPENSIVE. I have been searching high and low for an alternative. HP-Premium Plus is the closest I can find in quality to this paper. KODAK gives croc-skin on solid areas, as do other cheap papers. Someone PLEASE TELL US!!! If you can find a suitable replacement. FYI: I'm using the Canon S900 printer (WOW) w/S-40 (4MP) camera. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL. Rating: - Unbelievable quality I took some great pictures recently from a trip to Tokyo using a Kodak DX3900 3.1 megapixel camera set to its highest resolution. I printed the pictures on a Canon S900 printer I just purchased using the Canon 4x6 Photo Pro Borderless paper. I couldn't believe the quality. I couldn't tell that the pictures were taken with a digital camera or that they came off my printer and not from a regular film camera and photo processing. They are absolutely amazing. The Printer also makes a big difference and the Canon S900 is incredible and FAST. It printed each picture in about 30 seconds. I wish the paper was available in a bulk carton... Rating: - I never thought I'd print pictures... I bought a Canon i850 with the idea of using for a few color documents, mostly papers for school, and PERHAPS some pictures. The printer came with 5 sample sheets of this exact paper and so tonight I figured I'd give my printer a whirl and see how good it was. Well, I printed a picture of my brother and me and I was absolutely BLOWN away. I assure you there is NO difference between a picture printed on this paper and something you get developed at the store. After seeing how incredibly good it can print, I've order 20 more sheets of this paper and I think I'm going to start printing a lot more. And some people say this paper is too expensive, but the way I look at it, I don't have to BUY film, just the paper so you can't just compare it to the cost of developing film and the secondly when I take pictures with my digital camera I only print the pictures I actually WANT and even then I can modify them to exactly HOW I want them! I don't think this paper is too expensive. Buy this paper!
