Average Rating: Rating: - Quiet, works well...I'm buying a second one. We had an old Duracraft warm mist humidifier that broke after a few years. We just bought this one as a replacement and I like it a lot. It does the job, it's very quiet, and it shuts off automatically when it runs out of water, which my old humidifer didn't do. Before buying this one, I tried a Holmes cool mist humidifier, but I had to return it because the motor was incredibly loud. In comparison, I can barely hear the Honeywell. I like it so much I'm about to buy a second one. ... Rating: - An Efficient Appliance! Very impressed by the performance of the Honeywell. There are no worries with this unit. It purifies the water (unlike cool air units) and there are no filters to worry about. Just give it a simple cleaning every week. What a relief after my old cool air humidifier, it was hard to clean and needed hard-to-find replacement filters. Oh, and don't worry about the 350 watts! That energy is added heat in your home and helps to reduce heating costs. Rating: - Did not deliver as promised The humidistat did not work properly. The walls and ceiling were soaked and the window was steamed up, but it still didn't shut off even when the humidistat was lowered. It was very quiet though except for the occasional glug as it used up more water.
