Average Rating: Rating: - Wonderful Product This is a great product. I am a stroke survivor and have not been able to use a regular liquid measures successfully since my stroke. Holding up the measure to eye height, maintaining my balance and keeping my hand from shaking are more than my body is able to do. The result has been too much or too little measured. I have been using dry measuring cups, but they also create problems. This measuring cup solves my problem. I would highly recommend it. Rating: - Measure up to this! It took OXO to come up with an improvement on the basic measuring cup. We expected as much from the folks who made the first significant improvement in vegetable peelers in the 20th Century. You know how you always have to hold a measuring cup up, or stoop down, to see where the ingredients are? Well with this new device one can leave the cup on countertop level and look down for accurate measurement. When we first got ours it looked like there was a slight variation between the measurement marks on the vertical view and the horizontal view. It's true they are slightly different and it is to offset the slight curve at the edge of any liquid ingredient. Somebody in Science class has a name for this phenomenon. One of our most used cooking tools is the basic measuring cup and this one is superior to all the glass and metal ones we used before, by far. Rating: - Easy to read measurments but it Melted. This plastic measuring cup is easy to read but I have to give it a 2 star rating because mine melted around the top. This could either be from using it for hot liquids or from putting it in the dishwasher.
