Average Rating: Rating: - And I thought I kept a pretty clean house! I was not in the market for a vacuum cleaner... that is..until my vacuum bit the dust earlier this week. So, off I went , surfing around the internet for the best reviewed vacuum, and a bagless at that. I was sick of dealing with bags...they simply kept getting more expensive! So I read that the Bissell CLEANVIEW was rated really well, and I thought, "Wow, and its AFFORDABLE too! There MUST be something wrong". So , after talking it over with my husband, who was ecstatic that it was affordable since we aren't rich by any means, we went and bought it. We brought it home, and in no time had it up and running. Now I have 3 cats, so needless to say... I vacuum ALOT, usually every single day... so I thought "oh this won't get very full today". WRONG. This little vacuum (which is by no means light for me.. i'm only 100 pounds!) picked up all sorts of dirt, and I was amazed. Even my husband stared at the dirt in the dirt cup! Wow! Now not only can i SEE the dirt, but it picks up dirt I didn't know I had. A bonus part, is that the dirt cup, once emptied, can be washed out and then dried and put in again, so you don't have to worry about dust in the container. It's supposedly the same with the filters (3 of them!) So, to cut to the chase, if you are looking for a vacuum, and want one that really picks up the dirt and leaves your house dirt free - then get this vacuum today. You won't be disappointed! Rating: - Powerful but .... I am new to bissel upright vaccums and have used the Rainbow vacuum for years. This vacuum is powerful but since it grabs everything, if you are not careful, you'll be replacing its belt all the time. I forgot that these vacuums don't stop the rollers when you use the hose. I accidentally left the vacuum on the edge of my rug. Seen smoke, it sucked the edge of the rug while I was using the hose. Replaced 3 belts so far. Had this vacuum for 2 months. Rating: - Buy this one!!!... WHAT A GREAT VACUUM! Today was the first time I used my new vac. I just wish I could show you how much more dirt was cleaned out of carpets today. Even a powder fine dirt that had to come out of the nap of the carpet. My carpet in my bedroom had a spot infront of the dresser that looked like it was starting to show wear. It's not there anymore!! I just needed a better sweeper!! I can sure feel the difference in the suction power v.s. my old sweeper. I also like the washable filters. No more buying expensive hepa filters. I never owned a Bissell until I bought the little rechargeable Bissell Go Vac. I love it too! So when I needed a new upright I researched on Amazon.com. I decided on the Bissell because of the price, a wider sweeper path, 12 amps., the washable filters and a longer cord. This machine is a real bargain!!! Try it!!!!
