Usually bakers only use cookie cutters at Christmas. But this set is so diverse that it can be used the entire year. Of course it also includes holiday themed shapes for Christmas, Halloween, etc. No matter what the occasion, there is sure to be some cookie cutters in this batch to fit the theme. Since these are plastic and very durable, kids will have tons of fun using them. There are also so many shapes and colors that kids will easily stay interested. Very reasonably priced, this set is a big investment in a lot of fun!

These are high-quality sturdy plastic cookie cutters. Their sizes range from 2" to 4", and they come in a large variety of shapes. Although there are some holiday themed cutters, they do not dominate the set so people of all cultural backgrounds should be able to find shapes that they would like. I am only a casual cookie baker with no need to make holiday cookies and only an occasional desire to make cookies. I wanted a set of cutters for the few times I do decide to make cookies. I found this set overwhelming and quite a space hog in my small kitchen. However, the cutters are very durable and of high quality and large enough to makes the shapes distinguishable in the finished cookies, so I can only imagine any serious cookie baker, especially a prolific holiday baker, would be tickled pink with this set. But if you are only looking for a sometime use set or have limited space I'd think twice about such a large collection of cutters.
