Average Rating: Rating: - lacking in a lot Stuff is just another of the many men's magazines out there. Like most of the magazines, the pictures are great (you may never have heard of these women, but you definitely want to look at them). The articles are short and pointless. They don't even want to scratch the surface--Stuff is happy just glancing at it. Stuff tries to use humor in the magazine, but more often than not, the humor falls flat. I did give it three stars because the pictures are... well, look at them and see. Rating: - For guys who don't have time to read a 1-2 page articles Stuff (like Maxim, Gear, etc.) burst into popularity in the late '90's. If you're looking for in depth articles and significant cultural insight, you've come to the wrong place. This magazine targets itself at male Gen X-ers with attention spans that barely outlast a MacDonald's commercial. If you want glossy pics of scantily-clad young women celebs, snippets on hip trends, and comics with juvenile pranks and practical jokes, this magazine is for you. Rating: - By Maxim...but not Maxim This, like many other mens magazines, can best be summed up in two words..."Bathroom Reading," or "Lavatory Literature" for our more upscale counterparts. The magazine is all about hilarity and while it accomplishes its goals quite well, along with providing insights to other aspects of male culture like hot girls, cool cars, and all the clothes and gadgets a guy could ever dream of, the magazine still lives in the shadow of its bigger brother, Maxim. A lot of the content seems similar in the two magazines, which can get old, but the staff's sense of humor more than makes up for it. It's entertaining reading, plain and simple. Like that guy thespacecowboy said, "If you're looking for in depth articles and significant cultural insight, you've come to the wrong place." Of course if the folks at Stuff heard that they'd probably just crack some jokes about his mom! =)
