Average Rating: Rating: - Pretty good so far - just pre-paint it with Rustoleum By far the best design of any outdoor fireplace I've seen out there. Sits low to the ground and squatty. Large enough to accommodate a nice size fire and easy to add logs with the movable screens. I'm not expecting it to remain perfectly painted black all its life, but I did treat it with rustoleum to delay the onset of rust. Even so, the weathered/rusted look is not all bad. It's a fireplace! So far so good... Rating: - Beautiful design (5 stars), but... I bought this fireplace in the middle of May and I've already had to sand it down and paint it with stove/stop-rust paint (it's only the end of June). I couldn't believe how quickly and how much it rusted. Also, the first time my husband and I used it we noticed the paint inside was peeling off. I wish they painted it with better paint and chose a non-rusting metal, or at least sold a cover for keeping it outdoors. It's really too big to be moving it around, and the way it rusted we definately have to find some way to protect through the winter. I do love the design and size of it better than any other outdoor fireplaces I've seen though, so I'll keep it (and keep painting it) until something better comes along...
