What I at first thought might be another one of those "gimmicks" that we really could do without has turned into an essential part of backyard grilling. I grill virtually everything and every night. (My oven is two years old and I still use the oven for storage only!) The handle was easy to install; and the lights, while they looked small, cast just the right amount to view your entree of choice. I usually end of grilling in the dark, so this has made my job so much easier. It casts a directed light on the food without being harsh. Just enough, but not too much! Anyone who grills at night should own this. I wish I had thought of it first. Rating: - "Let there be Light!" Purchased the Weber Handle Light about 3 months ago and was impressed by the quality of the item. It was easy to install and even easier to use. It provides ample light for cooking those late-night meals or when it's just a little too dark to tell if that steak is medium or well done. Since it's battery operated, you can use it just about anywhere. Rating: - Wonderful, Ingenius Idea!! Finally Grilling at Night!! My biggest annoyance with grilling out is trying to get it done by nightfall as it is very hard to see what you are grilling after dark. I have been a Weber BBQ grill owner for several years, and have loved it! Now they have come out with a new handle. This device actually replaces the existing handle you have on your Weber BBQ grill. The handle stay's nice a cool cooking. During the day it functions as a normal handle, and becomes a bright wonderful night grilling light during the nitetime hours. Simply flip the switch to turn on the lights, when the grill is open, they point down on the grates by default and voila! The lights are powered by two c-cell batteries so there is no running of electrical wires to power. I HIGHLY suggest you get this as a wonderful addition to your Weber BBQ grill (note, only works with Genesis Silver A, B, C Genesis 1000-5500 Spirit 500 & 700).
