Average Rating: Rating: - The nicest tent we have ever owned! We used to dread putting away three separate tents on a hot Sunday afternoon, and this one has more than enough room for all of us and our gear. You will need at least two people to set the criss-crossed poles, and to fold the tent when you put it away. The poles slide into long, thin pockets and sometimes the metal ferrules catch on the edge of the pocket, but when two people work together a quick tug gets them unstuck. You'll never get the tent back into its original duffel, so be prepared to buy another. The instructions are printed on tyvek and attached to the duffel. They are helpful and include line drawings. Two of the side rooms are big enough for a queen size air mattress. The other side room is shallower but perfect for one person. I was impressed by the number of storage pockets. The materials are of good quality and I like all of the details. I love the tent stakes! They are strong enough that you'll never have to worry about bending them, and they have a bright yellow plastic top that makes them easy to spot on the ground. We broke one of the metal ferrules when we set the tent up for the first time at home in our back yard. We called the 800 number and they were very happy to send us a replacement pole for no cost. Rating: - Cadillac of all Tents The first thing my husband said to me after opening this tent for Father's Day was "I wanted a camper, but at least I will have the Cadillac of all tents". This statement was definitely true after we put it up for the first time. All of the extra little features make this a great tent. After putting it up the first time in the yard, it now only takes us about 20 minutes to set up. The head room is great! It's nice to change without stooping over. The many skylights are great for viewing the stars on a clear night. There are only two drawbacks to the tent. The stakes are steel, but not completely. The plastic hold-downs on the top of the stake tends to break easily when trying to pull it out of hard ground. The second drawback is that the zippers often get caught in the material that hangs over, if not carefully zipped/unzipped (especially with busy children in and out). Overall I would highly recommend this tent for anyone looking to purchase one. We would surely buy this item again!! Rating: - WOW? Do you pay taxes for that condo? That's what our neighbor asked when we set the tent up for our 7 year old son a week before we were going camping! We decided that we needed some practice for set-up and take-down prior to our trip and our son also wanted to invite friends for a sleepover. I must say it was an absolute snap putting this tent up (this is from someone who in the past watched her husband struggle with our much smaller tent). The first time we put it up it took about 15 minutes tops. I really liked the fact that the instructions are sewn in the canvas bag so that you'll always have it with you. This is a very roomy tent. During my son's sleepover, we slept comfortably 3 children, two adults and a dog (with 2 queen size air mattresses, a twin mattress and a large dog bed). I also wanted to add that during our camping trip we had torrential showers yet the tent was bone dry. It's also a very attractive tent - we had 2 sets of families ask for the brand of our tent during their evening stroll!
