Average Rating:
Rating: - Love the batteries!!
Having recently purchased a digital camera ..., I quickly discovered that it will go through a set of batteries before you know it. However with these batteries, I can usually get 135+ pictures, even with the LCD on and the flash also. Without them, I could not even imagine trying to take pictures using standard AA. For me, the costs could be as high as $10 in on day. (3 sets of 4AA) This makes the initial cost ... a Great value over time.I highly recommend these batteries to anyone with a digital camera, or other high drain device. As I have done, with two sets, they will always be ready when you are, always fully charged and reliable.
Rating: - 1450mAh is not the best
While in Europe I decided to stop burning through Alkaline batteries and purchased some rechargeables for my digital camera. In Amsterdam I purchased batteries from Haehnel at 1600mAh NiMH. Ironically The company is located in Bandon, Ireland (a beautiful little town near Cork, another place I was staying at on that trip). I've yet to find Batteries in the US with this power and this choice by Kodak fails to produce as well. I looked up these batteries because a review I found referred to Kodak as rated at 1600mAh. There are, in fact, 1600mAh rechargeable batteries by Kodak, thus this selection at 1450mAh is not the best choice.
Rating: - Digital Camera? You need these...
Don't make the mistake of thinking that these rechargeable batteries are the same as all others; they're not. Want to know how to tell the difference? Click on the picture of the batteries above for enlargement, and look carefully at the right side of the batteries themselves - you'll see that these batteries are rated at 1450 mAh. What's that mean to you? Longer lasting. I've noticed that most rechargeable batteries are rated at 1200 mAh - only the Kodak and Olympus batteries are rated at 1450 mAh, and the Olympus batteries are more expensive. These batteries outlast the high-end Duracells in my digital camera by 4 to 5 times! True! I don't know why, but in my Nikon Coolpix 950, Duracells drain completely in about 30-40 minutes while these babies keep on going. I had mistakenly purchased a set of Ray-o-Vac rechargeable batteries, and these Kodak's put 'em to shame. This is the product to get. Don't waste your time looking at anything less...
