Average Rating: Rating: - Ashamed to like it, but sadly I do (A CONFESSION) Ok, I couldn't stand NSYNC or the Backstreet Boys or B.Spears or any pop artist. I don't like hip hip or rap music either. My collection of cds which is very reputable contains CDs from Koufax to Jimmy Eat World and from Johnny Cash to Nine Inch Nails. I can honestly say I am ashasmed to own this CD, but I can't but admire almost every song on this CD with the exception of the ballads. I have to hide this CD everytime friends come over for fear of ridicule but as soon as they leave I put on my head phones and listen to the AMAZING production and the well written songs. The lyrics can get cheeeesy but all music is if you analyze it enough. I reccomend listening to this CD a couple of times and then dissing it. An excellent debut for a rising star. Rating: - Buy it, you won't be dissapointed! First of all I want to say I really dislike boybands with their 'girl-i-love-you' songs, so I natuarlly thought Justin's new cd would also be some boyband junk! Well, Newslash! It's not! In fact it's fantastic album, there are a lot of different songs on it, so not only ballads or something. My favourite songs are Last Night, Cry me a River and (she said)Take me now(featuring Janet Jackson wich is also one of my favourite artists!) The only thing that is a little irritating is that allmost all the song are about his break up with Britney...But none the less you should get this.. I'm not one of those little girls that'll love anything with a cute guy on it..I'm a 17 year old guy, so if your not convinced now, i have only 2 thing 2 say: BUY IT! ;) Rating: - Justified When I heard an advanced listen to the Jstified cd I was optomistic. Maybe finally a pop/r&b hybrid album that actually works and what I found out was that this album was everything Michael Jackson's Invicible album wasn't. Although few of the tracks faulter (Take Me Now, What You Got, Right For Me, Take A Ride), those lackluster tracks are more then made up for. I enjoy Timbaland's tracks yet they don't seem to fit in with the Justified sound. The stand out tracks are when the production duo The Neptunes gets the opportunity to create magic. Stand out tracks include Take It From Here (The all powerful love opus), Last Night (The traditional N.E.R.D sound), Senorita (Hip hop in the glory days) and the first single Like I Love You featuring The Clipse. Other standouts include the Timbaland banging second single Cry Me A River (About the pitfalls of love), Nothin Else (A more neo-soul approach for Justin) and Still On My Brain (The standout tale about trying to let someone go when it hurts so much). An added bonus is the track Worthy Of (Which sounds very much like a Glenn Lewis or Floetry song). All of the variety of Justified is what makes it great. The ability to switch from neo-soul to hip hop to pop at a moments notice is what makes this one of the best albums of 2002.
