Average Rating: Rating: - You need this CD! This guy has got it all... melody, lyrics, sound, everything. There are not too many CD's out there that every song is great. This is great for the car, background, a quiet evening. If you liked No Room for Squares, you will be very pleased with the live version. Back to Me is one of his best songs and the 83 medley just puts something in your head that you cannot get out. Buy this one, you will not be sorry! Rating: - It's freakin John Mayer OF COURSE it's AMAZING The cd is AMAZING!!! I went to the tour in Waco and was blown away. This guy is the hizze fo shizze no doubt there. Just because I've listened to "Room For Squares" and "Inside Wants Out", not to mention all the other unreleased stuff, until the cd's just burnt themselves out doesn't mean your not gonna enjoy this live one. John Mayer is DA MAN! and live he's amazing and this is only a taste you gotta go to the concert bruha!! Rating: - John Mayer rules! John Mayer is my absolute favorite musician, and I'm so happy he released a new CD! This CD contains live music, including a few songs that can't be found on Room for Squares. Unfortunately, St. Patrick's Day, arguably the best song fron that CD (and a great one for hopeless romantics) isn't on Any Given Thursday. If you've never listened to John Mayer before, you have to give him a try. Although he is often compared to Dave Matthews, I think they sound nothing alike, because obviously John is far better. Not only are his songs catchy, but the lyrics are great at capturing what it's like to be on the cusp of adulthood in a really touching way. That might sound cheesy, but this music is the best for cranking up in the car as you drive around looking for fun, and makes you realize that you're not the only one who's not ready to grow up. John's songs are all great, and captured live have an great, raw feel that really captures their spirit. If you've never listened to John Mayer, you have to give it a try.
