No matter what language the track is in, the beauty of the music and Josh Groban's voice will touch every music lover's heart. If you can only buy one CD today......buy this one! Rating: - Josh Is One Of The Best New Singers Around ! I first heard Josh Groban sing the song "Your Still You" on an episode of Ally McBeal and I was so disappointed I didn't note his name.His singing was unbelievable I was just sitting there in shock.Josh is definitely one of the best new singers around.It was only months later I read about him in an interveiw and I went out and bought this album right away and it was worth it.Josh Groban's voice and style of songs remind me of Andrea Bocelli but Josh is better and besides Italian he also sings in English and Spanish. He said in the interveiw he considers himself to be a pop singer rather then opera but in my opinion this is a classical crossover album and it's great!Alla Luce Del Sole and Canto Alla Vita featuring the Corrs(the music sounds just like one of there songs)do sound more pop then the opera like Gira Con Me Questo Notte,Cinema Paradiso and Un Amore Per Sempre.And Let Me Fall,Vincent and Home To Stay are easy listening songs.Alejute is a typical slow spanish guitar song.It's on the song Jesu,Joy Of Man's Desiring (With beautiful violin playing and backing vocals by Lili Hayden)that you really get to hear Josh's voice at it's best.He also does a remake of The Prayer with Charlotte Church (originally sung by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli)Josh sounds great but Charlotte Church is a disappointment.The best songs are Your Still You and To Where You Are.With lyrics by Linda Thompson and great music Josh makes these songs with simple ordinary lyrics sound terrific thanks to his voice.This is Josh Groban first album and I can only hope it's the start of great things to come he can only get better. Rating: - I love this cd! I just love Josh's voice. I couldn't believe how young he is as his voice sounds so much more mature. I wasn't too fond of the Italian songs at first, but the more I listened to his cd, the more I grew to like them. He sings them with the same heartfelt passion as he does his English songs. My favorite is "Gira Con Me". I think Josh is a great and rare talent and his voice is genuinely beautiful. I can't wait for the fall when his next album is due.
