Average Rating: Rating: - A work of Art Quizas has got to be Enrique Iglesias' most intimate and personal Spanish speaking Album to date. With almost all the tracks written by this versatile artist it is a mixture of ballads and upbeat tunes this is a must have for fans of his unique musical style. The title song Quizas (Perhaps) is a touching message from a son to his estranged Father and gives an insight into Enrique's own relationship with his father. He also adds "No Apagues La Luz" (Don't Turn Off The Lights" which is taken from his ESCAPE Album. This is sure to be the next best selling album following his massive selling English Album ESCAPE, he has gone back to his Latin roots with this album, but still keeps the Pop beats throughout the album. If you liked Hero and Escape then you'll love Quizas - Enrique's first album in his native Spanish for five years. A perfect blend of uptempo tracks and romantic ballads, the latter which Enrique was born to sing with his urgent and emotional vocals. Every single track pulls you into Enrique's world as he sings right to you from his heart and from his soul, taking you to a warm and beautiful place from where you'll never want to return! Quizas is a wonderful return for Enrique Iglesias to his native language, full of emotion. The realisation that something could be lost forever is beautifully expressed in the title track. However there is no mistaking his search for true love & true love that is lost in the first two tracks, Tres Palabras & Para Que La Vida. Then there is pain, Mentiroso!!!! Still he has time for fun with Sueltame Las Riendas. For me this is the one & only, the best Spanish album from Enrique Iglesias Rating: - Excellant Cd Enrique Well what can i say? This is one of Enriques greatest spanish cd's, all of the songs are fantastic, im abit of a romantic, so i really like the slow songs, i love the song 'la chica de ayer' Quizas is a really great song, and i really like 'mentiroso' which is a slow song. Excellant job enrique, keep up the great work, the Dvd is pretty good too, its got some of enriques old music, and on the menu section its got the back ground to one of the songs on this cd. Buy the cd, listen to it when your with a special someone. Dale compar este cd, que esta expecatcular. Si podria le daria un 10 a este cd. Rating: - not great. but it's alright.... Despite the lofty praises of the other reviewers, this album is not the second coming of the messiah. ok? I like Enrique's voice. and I like many of his songs. Quizas is decent and I especially like "Mentiroso". But let's be honest. He isn't "the most talented modern male singer I've heard in years" as one put it and this isn't "definitely one of the best Spanish speaking albums out" as another put it. "Muchas Flores" by Rosario is a much better album (for example) Luis Miguel, Jerry Rivera, Luis Fonsi. etc they all have better voices. Don't get me wrong. I like Enrique. But let's keep things real. also, I am glad that this is NOT an english album in spanish version. Why do norteamericanos all think that spanish albums by spanish artists are american songs sung in spanish? So no.. this is not like Ricky Martin's last album. (Thank God) If you appreciate latin music and not american pop i spanish, buy thi salbum. But don't expect this to be your reason for living.
