Average Rating: Rating: - Warning This CD will not leave your CD player! I ordered this CD after watching his Comedy Central Special. The only difference is no laugh track and "Special" Fred from TV is Ed on the CD. Jay Mohr from SNL lends is talents a Christopher Walken. There are more tracks than I have listed, most are intros, with the last track containing Walken, screw-ups, and the song "Kill a Kitten". A Good CD. 1.Lullaby (The Divorce Song)- As Seen on TV 2. Half A Man- Funny, about 'being Uncle Ben with one grain of rice", if you know what I mean. 3. Btch- a Hilarious short track 4. Special- Title track, as seen on TV. 5. A Month Dead- The worst song 6. Priest- He pines for an Altar Boy 7. Hair- There is a hair on the soap, and it isn't his. Short. 8. Gerbil- Enough said. 9. R.D.C. (Opie's Lament)- Hilaious ballad 10. Mother's Day Song- He thanks Mom for it all. Short. 11. HemAphrodite- As Seen on TV. 12. Tall Glass O' Water- It has cowbell. 13. In Defense of Peep Show Girl- Very funny. 14. Jim Henson's Dead- A Muppet Anthem 15. Gay- As Seen on TV. Rating: - Hilarious Genius!!* I first saw Stephen Lynch on a TV special, I laughed so hard, that I went out the next day and ordered his new CD, A Little Bit Special. The day the CD arrived I must have played it at least a 100 times, and the lyrics had me rolling on the floor everytime I heard them. My whole family now listens to the Lynch CD at least once a day. I have even gotten my friends hooked on Stephen Lynch's music. Out of all my CD's A Little Bit Special is my number 1 favorite, heck I have almost worn the thing out listening to it over and over again. I don't think that the lyrics are rude or disgusting, I find them to be witty and intelligently funny. This CD really helps me to come home and relax. I can just come in the house, sit down, and laugh the heartaches of the day away. I absolutly can't wait to get Lynch's next CD or see him in person. He is defintely a creative genious in my eyes!! Rating: - Voice of an angel, mind of a pretzel... This guy is so twisted...he thinks like I do!! If these songs were baseball pitches, they's all be changeups. He starts out with these incredibly beautiful guitar licks, he adds a honeyed voice and words of rapturous wonder to lull you into complacency then...WHAM!!!!...right between the eyes, out of left field, no idea it was coming, you get a double-dose of perversity so stunning, you can't stop laughing in time to catch all the words. So you listen again...and again. And even when you've finally heard ALL the words, you listen again, because you just can't believe it's happening. This guy could have been a serious actor, musician or poet, but anyone with a dose of talent could have been any of those. Not many could have blended all those talents into this one hilarious package; if he comes to your town, or one of his specials is on TV, consider him a must-see. Until then, don't pass by this CD; Stephen Lynch is a rare genius.
