Average Rating: Rating: - Three Mo Tenors - a must have! Make room Pavarotti, Domingo, and Carreras for Three Mo Tenors! The performance is phenomenal! The performers were brilliant! Three Mo Tenors has universal appeal. The tenors are funny, energetic, and extremely talented. The variety of musical styles, languages, and stagecraft is unbelievable. In Italian, French, and English they entertain in seven styles: opera, gospel, blues, soul, jazz, Broadway and spiritual. Their renditions of "Make Them Hear You" and "America the Beautiful" leave me with goose bumps. Each tenor brings a unique talent to the performance. The veteran Thomas Young, a rather deep lyric tenor, has a wise, tender, yet resonant voice. Victor Trent Cook, the counter tenor, has an amazing vocal range. Rodrick Dixon, the younger lyric tenor, has a powerful, thundering voice. The accompanist and orchestra are fabulous as well! Bravo! Rating: - my analyst told me that I was right out of my head... but I knew all along that this cd was awesome. I am not a huuge fan of operatic tenors, but my father used this cd to test his new speakers and oh man, are these three amazing. Roderick Dixon does amazing, impossible things with his voice (c's! yikes!) and Thomas Young's scatwork on Twisted is fast and tight and clear-and Victor Trent Cook makes The Jazz Cat really shine. a clear choice to take up a spot in your cd collection; I'm trying to get my friends on the radio crew to play them on campus; don't just sit there and enjoy Ah! Mes Amis and Nessun Dorma- open your windows and crank it up and Make Them Hear You. the world will be a better place. Rating: - Must Have I returned from hearing The "Three Mo'Tenors" live 2 hours ago. And just finished listening to the CD again. They are that good! One Tenor better than the one before. Live they sang for 2 1/4 hours and I wanted more. Live they perform about 7 more songs than on the CD, and of course all the songs on this CD. Imagine the same three rich Tenor voices crossing seven musical forms and spanning four centuries of music. This is what is on this CD. Put the CD in your player and sit back while these tenor's take you on a fantastic, memorable and awe inspiring musical journey through the worlds of opera, Broadway, jazz, blues, soul, spiritual and gospel. You will play this over and over. Do yourself a favor buy the CD (DVD) and go see them live. You will feel the concert. Just wounderfull.
