Average Rating: Rating: - Fabulous Lilith Women I don't really know why people prefer Vol 2 over Vol 3 of the Lilith CDs. Vol 3 is even more fabulous in terms of variety and overall sound. Right from the first groovy "Soul Record" & "Naked Eye", to the wry humour of "Never Said" and "Onion Girl", on to the candy sweet "Kiss Me", to William Orbit-inspired "Black & White", to the ultra-smooth "Underneath A Red Moon", on to the moody rock of "Not An Addict" to the country fun of "Get Out the Map", on to the simplicity of "Luka" "Little Black Girl" and "Surrounded", and finally to the bluesy "Deeper Well" and "Spit of Love"...(taking a deep breath)..this record, from top to bottom, is simply DIVINE ! Don't just listen to the music samples above. They don't do justice to the actual crisp clarity of this record. Those who enjoy REAL music, go ahead and buy this, you won't regret it. Rating: - This is WAY better than Vol.2 I ordered both CDs by Amazon.com. I got Vol.2 first and thought is was a good CD. Two days later i got Vol.3 and i was so much more impressed. This CD i listen to straight through (i only skip over the first track), Vol.2 I skip more often. My fave track (besides the forever wonderful Sarah McLachlan's "Black and White") is K's Choice "Not an Addict". That song is amazing. The Liz Phair and Suzanne Vega tracks are really cool too! If you were gonna choose just one of the volumes to buy(not including the first double CD, which was amazing too) I would get Vol.3, it is the overall best choice! Rating: - Wow. Almost like being there... I went to the Lilith Fair in '98 and it was incredible, so I, of course, couldn't wait till the Cd from it came out. I was dissapionted when they were seperated into two CDs, but I thought, oh, well, I'll get one of them and see. I decided on Vol. 3, and I love it!! It really captures the essence of the Lilith Fair.
