Average Rating: Rating: - Practical, robust, and energy efficient The title tells it all. My wife reads in bed with this rather than turning on the lamp. So far, over two weeks of use and the light is as bright as new! LED's are the future of light. Rating: - You'll like this headlamp! A friend of mine had one of these on a kayaking trip I was on last year and I was surprised at the amount of light emitted from this small package. I bought one... then another... and another. And then I gave some as stocking stuffers to family members this Xmas. I use this all the time from working on the car (directs light right where I'm looking), bbq'ing, taking out the garbage, etc. I put an extra one in my wife's glove box just in case. And, the batteries last a long time - much longer than with a standard flashlight. Rating: - LED's are the Key! A point not mentioned in the other reviews is that fact that LED's consume next to nothing powerwise and so batteries last darn near forever! Secondly, it is so light that you can take it along for hanging around camp and save your big headlamp for those alpine starts.
