Average Rating: Rating: - good blower, mediocre vacuum The Toro works well as a blower-it has lots of power, is not excessively noisy, and its weight is reasonable. It quickly and efficiently blows leaves in the yard as well as debris on the driveway and sidewalk. It used to take me 30 minutes to sweep the driveway and sidewalk, while I can clean them with the blower in about 5 minutes. The vacuum, however, is not as impressive. The vacuum is meant to pick up large, light things like leaves and grass. Its nozzle is too large to develop adequate suction to efficiently pick up dirt, sawdust, etc. In other words, it is no replacement for a shop vac. Overall, it is a good value. Rating: - Great blower I purchased the Toro blower/vac after viewing several and the features available. I have not been dissapointed in the ability of this unit. It blows with incredible force and picks up leaves as it's intended. I do wish the leaf bag had the zipper on the bottom rather than the side, for emptying into lawn bags. I am happy with the simplicity and ease of changing from blower to vacuum. I would clean my yard and put leaves on my truck then, make 3 trips to the dump per yard cleaning. I can now get the entire load on my truck using the mulcher and have room for more, in 1 trip. I can't imagine fall cleanup without it now. Rating: - It's a nice piece of lawn-gear I bought one of these things and it's a great piece of equipment, but it does have a few week points. It really moves leaves,no doubt,and I love the mulching feature. The only problem I've encounterd is, the impeller is plastic. I'm afraid it'll break off a blade and get's hung up on pinecones,and we have alot of them in eastern Virginia. It also doesn't do too well on some twigs that get caught up in the intake. the bag is a little akward for me to use. But the vacume feature works great in the corners that you can never seem to get all the leaves out of and chops them up nicely.Getting the bag empty is pretty easy and I would reccomend this blower. On the cool scale, it rates a 10.
