Average Rating: Rating: - Great mower and no mess! I love this mower. There is no gas or oil to mess with and no cord to pull to start it. Just plug it in and go! The cord isn't that difficult to manipulate around. Just keep the cord laying in the part of the lawn that you've already mowed, and you're set. Height adjustment is also super easy with this mower. It's almost winter, and I couldn't help but laugh when I saw all my neighbors draining oil and gas from their mowers. The Lawn Hog is so much easier. The only people who might be unhappy with this mower are those who think the loudness of their mower (/motorcycle/car/tools/etc...you know the type!) makes them more "manly." Little do they know! Rating: - I'M IN LOVE!!! Santa arrived a little early this year and left this mower on my porch. Since the weather has been pretty mild here in Michigan for this time of year, I decided to try it out. I really don't think I could have waited for spring! I was worried that dragging a cord around would be a problem---well it wasn't! You can quickly figure out a system where the cord is no problem at all. It arrives assembled--all you do is raise and tighten the handle, attach the catcher, and go! It is so lightweight and easy to push, I thought that I'd died and went to heaven! Best of all, there is no cord to pull!!! no deafening noise!!! no worry about having enough gas!!! It does a beautiful job and the catcher holds a lot of grass. I'm an experienced gardener and I've tried them all. Believe me when I say this thing is GREAT!!! It handles my 1/4 acre just fine!!! I highly recommend it! GO FOR IT!!! Rating: - Oh So Happy I wanted an electric mower but I could not find a rechargable that I felt would serve me. So I did a test with an extention cord and a cart to see if I could deal with dragging a cord around. I have about 1/3 acre of lawn with mostly flat but with a few steep hills. I decided to take the chance and order this mower since the price was right. It arrived sooner than I expected considering that there was no charge for shipping. I pulled it out of the box, adjusted the handle and plugged it in. I cheered outloud, "no more oil, no more gas, no more smell, no more tune-ups". I really felt liberated. I find that cord management was a bit awkward at first, but with a little patience it's easy. I love how simple it is to start it and stop it-just let go of the handle. Even mowing the hills is no problem. I am so pleased with my new corded Black & Decker electric mower. It's quiet too. Go for it!
