Average Rating: Rating: - Very fun...refreshing I am a huge fan fan of THPS 1,2,& 3 and was looking for a snowboarding game on the same level, but after reading the reviews of the Palmer Snowboarding game I was a bit turned of...then I tried SSX Tricky! SSX gives you the same feel of a Tony Hawk type game, but with a refreshing twist. You still get great tricks and combos, but the courses are set in a downhill race style...so not only do you have to master the tricks (which you build as you progress in the game)you have to hone your racing ability...you also can race or showoff (who can get the most points) in a two player format. Overall a wonderful game once you master the controls...just as fun as Tony Hawk...but certainly no rip-off or wannabe title! Rating: - This game is off tha hook... This game is just awesome. It makes a bit more sense if you have regular SSX, but even if you don't, it's still awesome. They totally change everything from the original. Despite the losses of Jurgen and Hiro from SSX, it makes up for it with new characters like Eddie and Psymon. And the courses went through the same process, and totally awesome rail systems on Showoffs. And the new aspects, of course, include the infamous Tricky moves, that gain you about 17,000 points a trick every time you do them, and doing them continuously gives you ultimate boost. This also has a whole behind-the-scenes section, with a bunch of interviews and stuff. It also has a whole built-in soundtrack accessable partially on courses and all of them in the DVD section. There are a bunch of bands and DJ's on there, including John Morgan, MixmasterMike, Rahzel, Shocore... even Run DMC (we'll remember you, JamMasterJay). Grade:A+ What that means:Buy it at all costs. Rating: - Awesome Game, A must have for Anyone This is an Awesome game!!! SSX Tricky is a fun, addictive sequel to the great SSX. You can choose between one of 12 bizarre characters, who have their own unique personality. The controls are easy to use, and it takes hardly any time to learn. The simple controls allow for awesome tricks. The caracters can perform tricks normally impossible, such as one footed grabs. This makes the game even more fun and interesting-if possible. The Tricky Meter rises when you complete a challenging trick, and once it reaches "tricky", you can perform the amazing "Uber" tricks. Some of the amazing tricks are The Worm, Walk the Dog, and many others. There are many different courses, full of jumps, grind rails, and shortcuts. SSX Tricky includes to new courses, Garibaldi and Alaska. All of the courses have been changed a lot from the original SSX's. Whether you are a snowboarder, or someone just looking for an awesome game, this is a must have!
