XBOX - GREAT new games like Mech Assault, Unreal Championship, Ghost Recon and Blinx are finally showing what this console was made for: Amazing Graphics and gameplay. Hands down it's CAPABLE of the best graphics and speed. If you actually look at the specs of the system it beats the others HANDS DOWN. The games are really starting to roll out for XBOX now and it's really taking hold. Have a DSL or Cable Modem? GREAT! because XBOX Live is a WONDERFUL evolution of PC online gaming and is a REVOLUTION in the console arena. 99% of the time there is no lag in games and the head to head over internet play is incredible. PS2 offers this as well but mostly it's dial up players with tons of lag. If you are interested in online gaming the XBOX is the only console worth considering PERIOD. Aside from the power of the machine the most intriguing feature it offers is a built in 10 GB hard drive. That's right, no need for memory cards! Plus, updates to games can be downloaded to the hard drive. NFL Rosters change? Want your game to reflect that change? Not with any other console! Bug in the game?? Live with it on the other consoles...download a patch for XBOX. Great Stuff All Around!! The ONLY downside to XBOX in my opinion is the lack of games for young kids (say under 12) BUT they are coming!!! My son plays Blinx The Timesweeper all the time and loves it. Heck, I love it too... great gameplay and graphics. Also, don't let the oversized controller myth fool you. XBOX now ships with "S-Controllers" that are smaller and are just great even for young'uns. MS still offers the larger controllers but the console now ships with the smaller one.
