Average Rating: Rating: - Good for the elderly too I work in a Nursing Care Center and two of our residents have received these cats from family. I was so delighted with them that I looked them up on the internet and ordered one for my daughter. From a distance I had to do a double take, they really look real... the meow is a bit loud, but that's good for older people who are hard of hearing! They are very good to use for Sensory Stimulation. The one's I've handled at the Center were the white one who's eyes are a little too blue, and the Silver one which is very pretty. They both worked nicely. I've ordered the Cream one and hope it will be just as nice. Rating: - Fur Real Cat This was a must have toy for Christmas 2002. So at the last minute Amazon got them back in stock, and I thought we were lucky enough to be able to purchase one. What a disappointment this Cat was. I don't think ours worked correctly to begin with. It was only played with for a short time, and half of the pressure point on it (that make it purr, hiss, etc...) did nothing. Everyone else I know that bought this cat wishes that they had not purchased it. Never got played with sice 2 days after Christmas. I do not recomend this item at all. Rating: - Pretty realistic My daughter got the black and white cat as a gift for Christmas and I must say it is very realistic and very beautiful. Almost too realistic. She also got a mechanical dog and when the dog ran into the cat and barked the cat started growling and hissing! It was funny! The meow is loud and you can hear the mechanics in the cat when it moves but I'm sure those are things that are trial and error and Hasbro may fix for next years demand. I thought this cat was alittle creepy when I saw the comercial but I am pleasantly surprised and would buy another.
