Rating: - Baby Einstein = Brain Development My Daughter is now 14 months old. I started buying the baby einstein series for her when she was 6 months old. For some reason these videos capture her attention very well. Is it the music? Is it the puppets? Is it the toys in constant motion? I don't know. But my daughter appreciates the classical music and now dances to it and hums along. She anticipates certain songs and sounds associated with the various items/animals on the videos/dvds. I have 3 children under the age of two (a toddler, and twin infants), and they all become hypnotized when we put in any of the Baby Einstein videos. That is, hypnotized in a good way, really! Before we purchased this video set, I don't think I ate a single dinner without one of the twins in my arms since the day they came home from the hospital. Crying children become happy little couch spuds when they hear the tinkly intro music to these videos. And best of all, my little boy, who is not quite two, can recite the entire alphabet, count to 30, knows all his colors and shapes, and has a great vocabulary, in part because of the personal attention he gets from us, but also due to his enjoyment of these videos. The music is beautiful, the images are adorable and familiar to babies, and the spoken parts (the language and poetry segments) are very calming. My kids love these videos and so do my husband and I.
